FAQ
Can I generate NSFW video through the CivitAI API?
Not reliably. CivitAI's generation API routes through fal.ai, where safety checks are on by default and explicit content is prohibited by fal's AUP. On-site .red generation is a separate, consumer-facing product.
Why did CivitAI stop taking credit cards for NSFW?
Card networks pushed back on AI adult content in 2025; CivitAI's payment processing was cut off twice, and in April 2026 it split NSFW into a crypto-only .red domain. 18models settles in crypto/stablecoins for the same reason — no card network can switch us off.
Does 18models support LoRAs?
Not today. Wan 2.7 reference-to-video (up to five subject references with optional voice) and HappyHorse r2v (up to nine reference images) handle most character-consistency use cases; see the capability page.
